about dTV

Overview

The diffusion TENSOR Visualizer (dTV) is an extension program developed for the volume data viewer program VOLUME-ONE . dTV performs analysis of DTI data and transfers results to VOLUME-ONE for display. Several new features are added in dTV.II including pararell fiber tracking with multi-thread computation.

Main Feature

- Compatible for 6 - 255 directions of motion probing gradient (*1) with multiple b-values
- Three analysis modes: Fiber tracking / Diffusion profile display (incl. ellipsoid) / Voxel statistics
- ROI editors
- Creating computational data such as FA ,map, color-coded FA map, ADC map, DKI map
- DKI computation models

(*1) You may need to import MPG vectors of your imaging protocol.

History

2002 Apr: dTV 1.0 prototyped

2003 Feb: English webpage is opened and dTV1.2 is released.

2003 Jul: dTV1.5 is released.

2004 Aug: dTV.II is released.

2005 Sep: dTV.II SR is released.

(during this period. focused just on academic research and development. Many private versions were born such as II.GTR, II.DX, II.13k, etc.)

2015 Jun: dTV.II.15g is released

FAQ

Q1. May I redistribute dTV?

A1. Sorry. We do not allow that.

Q2. May I make a link on my webpage to the webpage of dTV?

A2. We accept links only on academic/research sites. But, contact us in advance.

Q3. I can not load my DICOM data

A3. Make raw (plain) format of the volume data, then import it on VOLUME-ONE, and start dTV.

Q4. I imported MPG data correctly, but analysis results seem strange.

A4. Check coordinate system of your MPG data. Imported MPG data must be in VOLUME-ONE coordinate system. In some cases already reported, MPG vectors are described in MR scanner coorinates or Z element is inverted. Rotate or flip MPG data in such cases.

Q5. I have a question about VOLUME-ONE ...

A5. See FAQ page and/or refer quick reference of VOLUME-ONE website.

These are for older versions but useful (sorry... in Japanese).
